The Local Number Portability (LNP) service allows you to seamlessly connect your customers’ calls when they move into a competitive service area. This is critical in today’s marketplace, as telephone subscribers have the flexibility to move their phone numbers from one carrier to another. With LNP, you can re-route and connect your customers’ calls seamlessly.

 

Billed Number Screening

 

The Billed Number Screening (BNS) database service from Bell helps you provide a value-added service to your customers by restricting unwanted toll charges. Simply by registering the telephone numbers in Bell’s database, you can block collect and/or third-number billed calls to your customer’s telephone numbers. Our BNS database service is available nationally and can be leveraged by both local exchange carriers and wireless service providers.

 

Message/IP Relay (7-1-1)

 

With our Message/IP Relay service (7-1-1), you can offer next-generation relay service across Canada to your customers. This service makes communication easier for deaf and hard of hearing people and those with speech disabilities. This service lets your end users connect to specially trained operators through a teletypewriter (TTY) or through an online IP Relay portal.

 

Emergency service (9-1-1)

 

With our Emergency 9-1-1 service, your customers can call for emergency assistance on our network. By interconnecting to our 9-1-1 tandem switch, you can provide your customers with access to a public good service offered by Canada’s largest communications company.
